Burpengary East Medical Centre & Skin Cancer Clinic is looking for a female VR GP with an interest in skin cancer medicine, to meet strong and growing demand from patients who specifically want a female skin cancer doctor. You'd be joining two full-time Skin Cancer Doctors who bring more than 30 years' combined experience — not starting something from scratch.

Total body photography and digital mole mapping for ongoing lesion monitoring.
PDT & laser
Photodynamic therapy (red light Metvix treatments) and laser/IPL on our Ethera Dual mode platform.
PRP treatments
Platelet-rich plasma treatments, including for hair loss.
Cosmetic & aesthetic
Cosmetic and aesthetic services, including injectables — an advantage if it's an area of interest.
Surgical training
Opportunity to be involved in minor surgical procedures, with in-house support to develop or extend surgical skills.

The role
Female VR General Practitioner
We're seeking an experienced practitioner to complement our current team of two full-time male Skin Cancer Doctors, in response to strong and growing patient demand for a female skin cancer doctor.
Day to day
- Comprehensive skin checks and lesion diagnosis
- Surgical and non-surgical lesion treatment
- Total body photography and digital mole mapping
- Opportunity to take part in minor surgical procedures, with mentoring
What we're looking for
- VR General Practitioner (female, to meet patient demand)
- Dermatoscopy certification or demonstrated advanced dermatoscopy / skin cancer medicine skills
- Willingness to develop or apply surgical skills for excisions and flap/graft repairs — in-house support and mentoring available
- Interest in cosmetic/aesthetic medicine an advantage, but not essential
