Dr. Kamil Wegrecki grew up in New Zealand and completed high school in Brisbane. He holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Queensland and earned his medical degree from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney.
Kamil spent five years training at some of Sydney’s busiest tertiary referral hospitals, including Liverpool, Royal Prince Alfred, and Westmead. During this time, he completed two years of dedicated surgical training across various specialties, including surgical oncology and general surgery.
In 2022, Kamil returned to Brisbane, where he now resides in North Brisbane with his wife and four children. He has a special interest in skin cancer and is in the final year of his GP Vocational Training, undertaking an Extended Skills Training position.
