Dr Avalon completed her Doctor of Medicine at The University of Queensland in 2021 before undertaking her junior doctor training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where she gained experience across dermatology and surgery. She has a particular interest in skin cancer care and surgical excisions and enjoys supporting patients through every step of their treatment.
As part of her GP training, Avalon spent a year working at an Indigenous Health Centre, an experience that strengthened her commitment to providing respectful, culturally informed care. She values communication and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for all patients.
